In this anniversary year Hiroshima reminds us of the terrible inhumanity of the atomic bomb. It must never, never happen again - which means we must renew our commitment to the new proliferation of nuclear weapons and to nuclear disarmament. Ireland is totally committed to this and we join with the people of Hiroshima in their commitment to peace.
