"On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Ireland I have come to pay deep respect, to honour the victims, and to remember the terrible deeds in this place. We must always remember the inhumanity of man to men, to women and to children. Only if we remember will we remain eternally vigilant. Sadly, that vigilance is needed in our world today."
