President gives the opening address at the Schools Irish Flags Presentation Ceremony

President Higgins addressed students at a National Flag presentation ceremony at Croke Park, as part of the State's Easter Rising centenary commemorations programme.

In the keynote address at the event, President Higgins invited young people to take charge of change, saying that their ideas, enthusiasm and dreams are needed to continue the work of building a society in which all our citizens can flourish.
